Tap & Spile, Gas Street basin.
The Tap and Spile is a traditional pub sandwiched in to the narrow buildings on the West side of Gas street basin between the road and the tow path. The pub sprawls through a laberinth of rooms corridors and stairs through at least three buildings in at least two levels. Access from the street or from a poorly marked door on the tow path before 9pm. Good beer and Friendly staff. Local pork scratchings also worth sampling. Reccomended.

The Shogun is a combined Sushi and Tepanaki restaurant located in the ground floor of the Mailbox, just a short walk from the moorings at Gas Street, Brindley Place or Oozelles loop.
the Tepanaki experience combines fresh ingredients cooked live in front of you with some theatre from the chef and entertainment from the audience (dinners) participation. An evening out, Reccomended.
