Apparently the drought is over, now we have had the wettest June on record, and July is heading the same way.
It looks like got out of the north east just in time, as the River Aire is now in flood. Unfortunatly our next destination, the South West is also suffering with flood warnings out for the River Salwarp (Dritwich canals), Avon and Severn. Currently we would not be able to use the planned route for the next trip. Hopefully things will have improved by August.
As a backup up we an use the Northern Stratford Canal to Kingswood, then south on the Worcester and Birmingham to Droitwich so even if the rivers are still in flood we should get to our planned destination.

The new mooring will be we Droitwich Spa Marina, just outside Droitwich. Deposit paid, berth chosen so now we just need to get there!
