L&L Rufford to Parbold 26th September 2015

I arrived back at the boat on Friday evening having driven up from Reading, after doing the few chores like filling the water tank settled down for a quiet night in front of the telly.
Saturday morning an early start to walk the dog and return the Hire car to Liverpool with train back to Rufford before putting 100L of diesel in the tank and starting off up the Rufford flight. The locks and swing bridges were all manned making life much easier for single handing, and as a voat had arrived at the bottomof lock 7 as I was ascending I waited at lock 6 and we did the remainder of the flight together.
The bow cam starts at Lock 6 to Parbold where I had intended to moor for the night, but after walking the dog and settling down for the evening a broadbeam boat turned up with a sound system on the roof, and although it was an excellent sound system playing Queen hits it was not what i had planned for the night so I pulled the mooring pins and carried on about a mile to a rural mooring near Hands Lane Bridge.
