Last full day today. We set off from Saddington at around 09:15 arriving at the foot of the Foxton flight at around 10:15. We entered the bottom lock at 10:25 and with the help of the lock keeper we were out of the top lock at 11:15, 50 minutes for 10 locks or 5 minutes a lock.

From June 2012 Leeds - Yelvertoft

Mooring at the top of the flight we walked back for a look around the Inclined plane which had been cleared since my last visit. Certainly an impressive structure, will be well worth another visit if they ever restore it to working operation.

From Foxton we made steady progress towards the Marina at Yelvertoft with weather from bright sunshine to torrential rain and by the end of the afternoon strong winds as well. Moored up just before 17:00 about 2 miles from the marina, so a short trip in the morning.
