Chelonian rides again
Another day on the boat to get a couple of final jobs finished off, including applying the vinyl name and diamond decoration. Given CRTs recent approach to enforcing their new cruising rules I am taking no chances.
The next major job was to refit the Solar Controller and get the system working. After refitting the controller the system still did not work and after an hour or so with the multimeter this was traced to a faulty connector which only worked in one of the two possible orientations. At least it wasnt mine.
The last job was to replace the fan on the composting toilet. The fan is a standard 92mm computer case fan and the one supplied generated enough noise to be clearly heard in bed in the main cabin. This has now been swapped for a "low noise" fan which has reduced the noise significantly, to the extent that I have had to check a couple of times to ensure it was still running.
So thats now all of the jobs needed for cruising completed so no reason for us to depart on time.
