Rufford Branch Breach - Closure

We woke up this morning to find an email stoppage notice closing the Rufford branch until further notice due to a large hole between locks 4 and 5. As we are moored below lock 5 this is bad news. Walking up to lock 5 the water was about a foor low but probably passable however on reaching lock 4 it was clear that the breach was between lock 3 and 4 not 4 and 5 as stated and the pound between locks 3 and 4 is completely drained. It appears that a culvert may have failed in this section. So kettle on and will see if we can find out more later and get some pictures later.
