Wolseley Bridge to Fradley Junction 16th October 2015

From a delightful and surprisingly quiet overnight mooring at Worsley Bridge along the lock free pound allmost to Fradley and then dropping through the three locks to the Junction starting with the isolated Woodend lock and then the two locks at Fradley itself. At the junction we turn right on to Coventry Canal (detached portion) through the swing footbridge and then past the long line of moored boats to find an overnight mooring.

Burston to Wolseley Bridge 15th Oct 2015

A short afternoon from Burston through Great and Little Haywood to Wolseley Bridge. Pub for dinner tonight.

Trenham to Upper Burston Bridge 86 14th Oct 2015

from Trentham we continued the descent in to Stone, a town with a lot of canal activity. After a brief stop at the service point to empty bins and refill the water, another at Stone Boats to fill up with diesel, and a third to top up the shopping, we continued through Stone and south to a rural mooring at Upper Burstan Bridge. half the crew stayed home and half went to sample the local pub before pizza on the boat.

Milton to Trentham 13th Oct 2015

From Milton the last bit of the Caldon Canal back to Etruria to rejoin the Trent and Mersey main Line. After taking water at Etruria we turn left and head south through Stoke on Trent and out in to the country south of Trentham for a mooring close to the Wedgewood factory.
