The local pubs were either closed or not serving food so we ended up walking a mile to Scholars Green to the Bleeding Wolf who fed and watered us.

A gentle climb up to Wheelock where we moored just above the Wharf and then went to Barchetta restaurant in the old mill billding on the Wharf for an Excellent Meze followed by Calzone and a pasta dish all freshly cooked and highly recommended.

From Dutton Wharf to Saltisford Tunnel, just missing the 11:30-11:50 Southbound Passage so time to put the kettle on and a quick bit of lunch. At 12:30 continued South through Saltisford, and as the next tunnel, Barnton was clear continued straight though to Anderton. Another brief stop at Anderton services to empty the bin and toilet and take fresh water, then continued along the Weaver valley past the Lion Salt works and the various Salt flashes to a quiet mooring on the side of the River Dane just south of Billinge Flash.
